About iseyamakoutai-jin-gu
Iseyama Kotai Jingu is a prestigious shrine in Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, affectionately known as “Yokohama no Ise-sama” (Yokohama’s Ise Shrine). It enshrines Amaterasu Omikami and has served as a guardian shrine since the opening of Yokohama Port in the Meiji era. The shrine offers blessings for prosperity, matchmaking, and protection from misfortune, and provides views over the Minato Mirai district.
