About yasukuni-jinja

Yasukuni Shrine enshrines the spirits of approximately 2.5 million people who died in service to Japan, from the Meiji Restoration through World War II. It serves as a place of remembrance and reflection. The shrine grounds include the Yushukan museum, and seasonal events such as the cherry blossom bloom and the Mitama Festival attract many visitors.
