About ikasuri-jinja

Ikasuri Shrine (also known as Zama Shrine) in Chuo-ku, Osaka, is an ancient sanctuary that has long been revered as "Osaka's Guardian Deity," protecting the city and its people for centuries.

The shrine honors five deities—Ikui-no-kami, Fukui-no-kami, Tsunagai-no-kami, Asuha-no-kami, and Hahiki-no-kami—offering diverse blessings for home safety, travel protection, ward off misfortune, safe childbirth, and prosperity.

Despite being located in the bustling business district near Osaka Station, the shrine grounds provide a remarkably peaceful and calming sanctuary. Also known as "Watanabe-san," it's famous as the ancestral origin of the Watanabe family name.

This is a perfect power spot where visitors can find healing and spiritual connection amidst the urban environment.
