Ikukunitama Shrine in Tennoji-ku, Osaka, is one of Osaka's most ancient sanctuaries, lovingly known as "Ikutama-san" by the local community.

The shrine honors Ikushima-no-Okami and Tarushima-no-Okami as the protective land deities of Osaka, offering blessings for national peace, family safety, and protection from misfortune.

Historically serving as the guardian shrine of Osaka Castle, this sanctuary holds tremendous cultural and spiritual significance. The grounds regularly host cultural events, including the famous summer "Ikutama Natsu Matsuri."
